Naruto: Gaara-Fox Form

Heeeyy howdy hey 'yall miss me?

So I'm (sorta) back from the grave! Gosh it's been forever since I last submitted something *wipes virtual dust off gallery and page* Sorry 'bout that. Real life has to go and get in the way of things, so it seems. Which leaves me with almost no time to draw, or even think about drawing.
Which leaves me feeling like

But I was able to get away with it this time, because I had to partake in a rather long and boring travel out to the middle of nowhere to visit my mother. Being out in the country with absolutely nothing else to do (seriously, the nearest town is almost 45 minutes away 0_0) allows time to let you get into things. So apparently I got into re-watching anime for the first time in years (I seriously used to be obsessed with the stuff, though you'd never know it if you looked through my gallery_{and due to the fact I can't draw people worth squat} ) So I began watching those crazily animated characters I remember watching from back in the days of my younger self, starting with the (apparently) very popular Naruto.

And I told myself I wasn't going to rekindle anything while watching it, as it was just going to be for enjoyment and nothing else.

HA.

"You there, my brain. Yes you. Do you seriously need to go and start becoming obsessed with something that poor CatBeast saw EONS AGO???...Oh wait....you do?....*SIIIIIIIGGGGGHHHH*"

Yep. I've apparently gone and rekindled my appreciation for that show against my will
Some things never change, I guess

So anyway, I had this urge to draw during the first days of my three-week stay at my mother's, and so ideas started spewing out left and right, and before I knew it, I was drawing the characters of Naruto as foxes. Some things reaallllllly never change *shotshotshot*

So let me give you the rundown on this guy (Gaara) depicted in this drawing here:

<sub>Gaara is the 5th Kazekage of the Hidden Sand Village, son of the 4th Kazekage and younger brother of Kankuro & Temari. Gaara was once the most feared and despised person in the Sand Village as he possessed the spirit of the one-tailed Shukaku, and thus he turned developed a deep loathing towards to all humanity for his treatment.

It was during the Chunin Exams and the subsequent attack on the Leaf Village that Gaara came up against Naruto Uzumaki. After being defeated by Naruto, Gaara was shocked to find that Naruto knew very well the pain that Gaara had endured all his life and that he never gave up hope on being acknowledged as a person and ultimately found friends who truly cared for him. Seeing the determination that Naruto had to protect his friends made, Gaara decided to follow Naruto's path, wishing to become Kazekage of Sunagakure so he could be connected to his people, and hopefully have them finally acknowledge his existence as a person.</sub>


I'm sure some of are like right now. To sum it up, this guy basically had a very horrible childhood whereeveryonetreatedhimlikecrapandheturnedintoarageingpsychopathbeforeeventuallyturningintooneofthegoodguys.

*WHEW*

So yeah, um, he's like my ultra-favorite character from the show at the current moment, because he's just a downright badass at everything If you want to learn more about him, I'd suggest watching the show, or looking here naruto.wikia.com/wiki/Gaara _{I'd gladly tell you more, but I'm going to refrain from doing so for the sake of not turning this into a 10 page document here...}

So here's Gaara as a fox for you Naruto savvy people out there I hope I did him justice, I never know what to think when I make drawings like this This has actually been sitting around on my MacBook for a little while now, I just never got around to uploading it until now _{I may, or may not have forgotten to do so}

So that's basically everything I have to say! It feels good to get back on DA, though It might be a while before I submit something else again. I just don't have as much time for artwork like I used to have :/
But thank you all for your patience with me! I don't have the slightest intention of leaving DA anytime soon, and I have many more ideas for art to come!
